I go to cons all the time.
Most guys who attend are failed normies. Lots more femoids these days than before, all ugly acid-hair feminist type, acting like whores and looking for chadlets and not finding them of course. So they get off by making a scene and accusing random fucks of harassment to get them booted from the con. Haven't attended a single con in years where I haven't seen someone get kicked out.
Cosplay whores. Usually heavily made-up 5s or 6s. Some 7s but these are usually pros that set up their own booths and charge for photos. Usually wear slutted-up costumes of already slutty character (oh look another Harley Quinn, how fucking original). If taking pictures with them, always hover hand. God forbid you make contact with the costume or even worse with skin, they start screeching for security like goats that are being castrated. Yes even pros. I learned the hard way, when a pro called security on me for "groping her" when I put my arm around her bare waist for a picture. Got thrown out and roughed up a bit on the way out, and lost my pass in a very public way (a small mob of normies and femoid acid-hair cunts followed me as I was being thrown out and cheered).

If you are a part of certain cliques, sure. I.e. you are friends with a major streamer. But none of us are, so the most we can hope for is a pub crawl with a few dozen similarly desperate and thirsty assholes, following one or another con "celebrity" until they fuck off for a private party and leave you to stew in your own misery.
Most of the times though con "celebrities" slip out together and have a ball off the money they made from the desperate fucks that follow them.
I would, but i don´t think there´s one where i live. Can´t even imagine the smell of people in heavy costumes who are sweating in this tropical weather.

I've been to 3 cons, 5 if you count comic con. They're shit and I regret each of those visits. 90% normies and attention whores (look at my tiddies chad tee hee), 5% chads and stacies, 5% literal retards and incels. Smells of rank sweat and crusty shit. Not to mention the displays and venues are fucking stupid. Literally no redeeming factor. I'll never get back the few hundred I spent on tickets.

I haven’t; maybe 15 odd years ago it would’ve been a good idea, but nowadays they seem to have become hijacked and branded for mass appeal. One less safe haven for outcasts I guess.
Worse part of the anime cons are the cosplaying whores like everyone is saying. She can be your looksmatch and she’ll get thousands of pictures taken, while you’re waiting in line giggling like a school boy hoping to take a picture with her. Your literally looksmatch and you thought you saw a goddess because of how deprived you are.
