is it worth reading? I don't want to waste my time any insightful things in the book?

Summary: "if you can change it, why do you suffer, if you can't change it, why do you suffer".

I have heard that stoicism is much more than just controlling your emotions and stuff in fact there were rival schools of thought competing with stoicism

The book in particular is about that: about the choices we make in our lives and our inability to change things but just flow through them through advice and other bullshit. In the book there are also many references to sex and like the Chad that he is, sex tires him and seems boring and even counterproductive for a calm mind.
