Back in high school some of the worst people who bullied others or treated everyone like shit somehow ended up doing well in life.

Then a lot of the quiet kind people ended up
lonely invisible or just forgotten.

Why does it always seem to work out like that?

Hight tier normies and chadlites normally end up doing well in life no matter their morality.

I think it's primarily regarding that you get treated better when you are better looking - and better looking people disproportionately behave in a more harsh manner (e.g being bullies) in comparison to unattractive people.

So this upperclass treatment, is largely based off how well you look.

The confidence part is definitely true but I don't think looks explain all of it. A lot of them weren't even that good looking.

I remember this one guy who was overweight back then. I came across one of his Facebook posts years later and he honestly hadn't changed much. He still looked like a pretty average or even below average guy.

I think it had more to do with the reputation and social status they had. They already had big friend groups and everyone knew who they were so people overlooked a lot of their behaviour. Once you've got that kind of social backing people tend to go along with whatever you do and it becomes a lot easier to get away with treating people badly.

Yeah social engineering is real, people follow the opinions of the herd.

Yeah, that's what makes it so fucked. It always feels like the people who are the biggest assholes somehow end up getting everything they want, while the ones who just keep to themselves or treat people right get ignored or left behind. it happens all the time to make us wonder why it keeps repeating.
