The serious answer is that the education system is rigged to produce obedience, conformity with mainstream thought, and willingness to be a gradeslave/wageslave.

It's just that to get to elite schools, you have to do that AND be high iq (in terms of raw brain processing power). Hence we get people who can write well and do complex tasks yet still are complete brain dead mongoloids without the capacity to see objective reality and separate emotion from thought.
