Half life 2 sucks

1. You can't crouch and turn npcs into ground meat, no gore
2. Alyx is annoying mutt nigger bitch
3. Combine soldiers are stupid and boring
4. Guns variety is shit, the mp7 machine pistol is crap and other guns too
5. Most mutant variants are gone
6. Also multi-player is worse than the first game

most people glaze half-life 2 to hell and back for being this amazing game, a holy grail of gaming, when in reality it's just a regular, good game.
it lacks weapon and npc/enemy diversity, gameplay is janky sometimes and the only redeeming quality it has is it's story.

It’s fun and was pretty innovative for its time but yeah it wasn’t without flaws
