Reading his copious letters i found his interesting notes about future (our time).
He thought that people of the west would be maniacly obssesed with pursuit of sexual joy because of undesrtanding of futility of existence and increased material goods.
According to Mr Lovecraft people of west would become heartless psychopatic hedonists, and we see that he was right, dont we?
The only prestige in the nihilstic society of hedonists gains from having abundant sex life. All social hyerarchy of moderm era is aparently De Sad' s fantasy.
But unlike to victimes of De Sad's stories we are not defendless nor we did give up. We all have to work towards our final victory , gaining strenght from examples of our glorious ancestors, whose experiance of life was rather spiritial and idealistic than hedonistic.
When you feel abandoned and slackened just remember that spirit of numerous generations of your ancestors fights on your side. You shall not fail them.
And in any way the modern civilisation collapses. It is just question of time when the collouses is gone.

Be thou blessed by Saint Morgan and all the rest of unvilling saints

All general fictional predictions came to life. Simultaniously. Our world is horrible cyberpunk amalgam between Brave New World, Farenheit 451 and 1984. Lord, Huxley even discribed artificial human casts from chad alfas to mass produced NPC gammas and incel epsylons. Orwell had screens which LISTENS to you. Bredbury told about wars with mysterious foes, Jesus as a meme and threat of incusivity.
We all have supercomputers in our pockets but sometimes can't even afford a normal food. Tech monopolies took over.

Everything from the books already happened. We live them for at least 20 years.

Yeas. HPL had known about the charming new world long before it happened.
