They're a big problem here - i used to know a guy (died from drinking), ex-cop, who got hired by people to guard their vineyards, so that the gypsy pests don't wipe out the grapes before picking time comes. oh sure, but there are places in the country where you wont run into them. I don't want to doxx myself to much but I grew up in a small farming town and my class in primary school was like 19/22 white pupils, but these community's are expanding and become more diverse sadly.

I was hired to do similar as an Oregon cowboy guarding cows during birthing season. I killed mostly coyotes.

Around here security cams get stolen. Lol. But if they are secretly marked the cops will scan them - if you or they have a suspect - and check for the crime being committed. This has worked a few times lol.

There are various booby traps you can easily make or buy, that can be less than lethal. And therefore mostly legal.

But it's better to hire someone for cheap. Maybe a local homeless - yet trustworthy - guy?
