Gymmaxxing as a manlet is cope, if you want to do it, it should be for your personal health and you should aim for Bruce Lee type of build. Manlets with big muscles are ridiculed.

As someone who was in your almost exact situation, it's likely a waste of time. I got pretty buff and not only did no woman give a shit, all I got was gay-ass compliments from guys and the women avoided me even more because I also looked like a tryhard on top of everything. Now I let go and I got a bit fatter.

I'm not sure. My brother gymmaxed pretty much his whole life and ended up with an ugly wife. His ex-gf was way better looking but she dumped him after 5 years or so.
