I will bet money that it was the leg pressing, not the deadlifting, that fucked your hip.
Actually, it wasn’t. I never got any pain leg pressing. I did however get hip pain when deadlifting and pushed through it because I didn’t think it was that serious. :feelscry: I can 100% say it was the deadlifts because I was trying to max out on them. I never tried to max out on leg presses

And that's why I don't gamble. Your form must have been shit then. The deadlift is very easy to fuck up in that department.

This machine will work but if you ever try and actually lift anything remotely heavy irl you're going to absolutely fuck your back up because you're not activating the little support muscles that keep everything together. If you want a better ass literally just do front squats or lunges with your weight adjusted slightly backwards.

Agreed, but my form was not shit. I just have subhuman hip genetics. As I stated earlier, I have acetabular Retroversion, so any exercise I do automatically puts more strain on the labrum. Retroversion also makes it much more likely to develop bony grows called hip impingement, which I did. I very well could have developed the same hip issue without any weight training. I just lost the hip genetic lottery and got fragile hip joints predisposed to impingement and early degeneration

I'm 19 now and around 7 months after surgery and the surgery was a failure. Brutal shit man. The surgery had a 97 percent success rate, and I had to be the unfortunate 3 percent that it fails on. Fuck my life

The machine is still good but definitely look to add a core lift like deadlifts to your leg routine if you don't want to hurt yourself. Good luck though, I enjoy gymcelling as a cope and I wish more people did it
