I'm looking for a comfortable glute focused squat machine which doesn't involve anterior core and lower back. Many commercial gym equipment manufacturers are no longer making this lying hack squat. I'm getting it for cheap here in curryland.

Just make sure this isolates the leg and thigh muscles specifically so you don't end up accidentally growing your ass, too

Oh wait. Took a second to read this. You actually want to target the glutes??

That’ll target the intended muscles. Just don’t go too heavy and injure yourself

why do you want bigger ass

why do you want to focus your glutes? Your glutes will grow just from doing normal squats. If you want an isolation exercise for the glutes, then do hip thrusts.

Already do that with leg press, leg extension, and leg curl.

yes for total lower body development. (and booty aesthetics :owo::owo:)

I say this because I used to go heavy on deadlift and leg presses (exercises that work similar muscle groups) and injured my left hip beyond repair. I have a preexisting hip condition called acetabular retroversion which predisposes me to hip issues. After 5 months of these exercises, I got a labral tear and hip impingement (bone growths that bind up the hip from reaching full range of motion). I had surgery for it that is supposed to have a 97% success rate and was unlucky enough to be one of the 3% it failed for. I now have a left hip that will painfully pinch at 90 degrees flexion. It will never move past that to a normal range of motion again for the rest of my life :cryfeels:

you will go t rex mode with curry genetics

That's more of a female secondary sex characteristic. You're just shooting yourself in the foot if you're serious about that, brocel.

:horror: :horror: :horror: Incel genetics. :cryfeels::cryfeels::cryfeels: Can you work your lower body at all or no?

damn sorry to hear that man. Incel luck is brutal.

I am thinking of injecting T, so femboy is out of the question.
don't do that unless you have been lifting for at least 5 years. Steroids might end up fucking your system to the point that you need to take steroids for the rest of your life to have normal test levels. So make sure that you love the gym and that this is something you will be able to do in the long run. For all you know, you might get bored of it in 3 months and drop it.

I am low T so I need T injections.

Depends on your foot placement. Lower = quads, higher = glutes

Also plate loaded machines are better

A squat rack, a barbell, a few plates, a pull up bar and a dumbell is all I needed for this physique. I only used free weights and never needed any of those machines. I have a gym subscription but I only use these and occasionally the treadmill.

how much testosterone do you have? Also whats your lifestyle like? You can naturally increase your testosterone by sleeping 8 hours at the same time a day, working out, and eating a high protein, high carb diet. Also by cutting out processed food. Trans fats and processed foods in general lower testosterone.

Just do 6 gorillion isolation exercises theory

Squat, RDL, BSS and something for calves is all you need

I never focused on calfs tbh. I mostly did compound lifts and everything grew proportionally.

You can't trust reddit foids, dude
What's wrong with having a thick booty? I'm an endomorph with wide hips so I already have an ass. Why not max it out and mog all the foids?! :feelsEhh::feelsEhh:

Yes they are you don't know what you're talking about looking at your leg routine
I use plate loaded regularly with my gym's leg, back, and chest equipment and I much prefer selectorized machines because of even strength curve and better progressive overloading.

I can do leg extensions, leg curls, and calf extensions, just nothing that involves the hip joint in deep flexion. I hardly ever train legs though because I naturally have thick legs and a skinny upper body. Because of this, I skip legs anymore and spam upper body training to balance out my physique. I do a lot of fast cycling for fun anyway, so that is enough leg training.

Thanks man. It’s a brutal injury and I it sucks that I even lost the hip genetic lottery on top of being an incel. I get a daily reminder of my injury every time I go to tie my shoes with a nasty pinch in the front of the hip. Because my hip is limited in motion, I have to bend at the spine more to get into certain positions that otherwise would be easy.

Leg pressing is literally gay. It's physically no different than sucking a cock or taking it in the ass.

Brutal

Except you have 0 idea how much weight you're actually lifting with a selectoriser machine. You can get 2.5lb plates, how much smaller of an increment do you even need for overloading?

Also you need the greatest weight when the muscle is at its stretched position which most plate loaded machines already do. If you need to strengthen a particular ROM, good luck doing that with a cable machine.

Oh and the strength curve isn't actually equal, it's the highest at a 90° angle from the thing

@wereq

You can do dumbbell lunges in place of BSS and it's also fine. This covers all of the muscles in your legs.

It fucking sucks man. At least I can walk and still do the landscaping work to maintain our cabin. So brutal though knowing your hip is fucked for life with no chance of ever being right again

I will bet money that it was the leg pressing, not the deadlifting, that fucked your hip.

Crease your Jordans theory. Fuck lunges
