Can't believe cuckstar removed the GTA 3D ports from steam & the PlayStation store in favor of this shit. The 3D GTA trilogy is one of my favorite gaming trilogies of all time.

Steam versions of 3D universe games (3, VC, SA) were shit, i had to download fan made builds with fixed stuff and PS2 like lighting effects. So it's better to pirate.

Just updating the graphics to modern standards while keeping everything else the same (with the exception of some QoL updates i guess) would have been enough. Imagine something similar to this:
