Gta 5 has a better story than gta 3

No special abilities.
No save checkpoints during mission.
No shitty radio stations.(Lots of Italiano Mafia style soundtrack)
Car physics are fair and square.

Downsides:
Icons on the map disappear Over time.
Auto aim is kind of ass(if you play on the console)
Too much water 4.7/10 iGN

gta 3 is only hard because of clunky controls. I dont think theres a problem with no save checkpoints since most missions are 5 minutes long

The Best GTA is modding San Andreas.
Nothing comes close.

But id rather play GTA 3 than V.

3 still is more replayable imo I still play it to this day V gets boring after the first story play-through. But I like Liberty city better than Los Santos. San Andreas is also far superior to V imo
