Probably gonna be painful as hell. Planning on just using the machines because I don’t know how to use free weights (I’m newbie at gymmaxxing). Do you do any weight training?

no I don’t do any weight training because if I put on any muscle it will decrease my speed when I’m running

There is no gym for you face.
 
Just focus on 5×5 strength training and do compound lifts.

I'd still try to lose the weight and after that try to gain muscle. But I don't know if that would help the fact that I'm 5'3.

I'd still try if it improves my health and makes me feel better about my physique.

I also think people really underestimate the importance of being fit beyond aesthetics and health. What if you are in a survival or emergency situation and you need to be able to move around and run long distances without getting tired? I hate having to carry around extra weight with me when I walk.

I’m too weak. I wanna get stronger. Eventually wanna delve into MMA/self-defence as well.

Eat like a god damn motherfucker and do low rep(like 2-6 reps) heavy weight compound movements and slowly progress from that. Once you reach 2/3/4/5 on OHP/Bench/Squats/Deadlift you might wanna cut down weight little bit for MMA perhaps
Also focus on crushing strength. It always comes handy in self defence situations and helps in heavy lifting and is often overlooked.

Renaissance Periodization and CanditoTrainingHQ are good YT channels to learn about basic and advance stuff. Just binge watch their videos and you're good to go. With training it all boils down to your intensity and your nutrition in the end.
