Ginrai is a different character, he was shown in the 1988 super god masterforce anime.

He looks like Optimus Prime because in the USA they released a new Optimus prime toy in 1988.

However in Japan they decided to use that toy for a different character which was Ginrai. The USA cartoon had already ended at that point so Ginrai was only seen in the anime.
