Many of here have failed to meet society's expectations again and again. It's exhausting. I think it's worth it to try self improvement or catch-up, but at some point we need to stand back and realize that it's been failure after failure (at least for me). Failed at high school, then failed college with severe cringe and embarrassment. It's over. I'm done. I'm not having kids or "fucking bitches".
I think a possible option (cope) other than suicide or LDAR is QUITTING society. Get the fuck out of San Francisco, LA, New York etc. Move to a low status town, and try to find some passion that makes live more worthy than unworthy. For me, I want to pursue music composition, and this goal transcends my desire to follow society's expectations of me.
Is there ANYTHING you could do in your life, combined with quitting society, that would make your time worth it?
