I'm basically already dead as far as mother nature is concerned, I will not reproduce. I'm just waiting for my vessel to finally die.

The alternatives to a quick or painless suicide just seem a lot less appealing. I think dying from a chronic health problem may be one of the worst ways to die, since it would inherently be drawn out and full of suffering (such as life itself). Dying from physical trauma would be pretty terrifying too, and excruciatingly painful even if only for a brief period of time.

Phenobarbital, fentanyl, etc, seem like less bad options.
