I have this. My physiology is cursed beyond belief. Its a huge problem for me. I can only describe narcolepsy as the "feeling of death". Now, death is total absence of all stimulus and consciousness right, so how can one "feel" death? Well, narcolepsy makes me feel like a zombie, without the basic animating vigor to pick myself out of bed and do basic every day life activities. I have zero enthusiasm, hope, and desire to fight for basic day to day survival. Think of it as nihilism imbibed on a deep biological level. Its feels like my brain has given up all desire to live and is shutting my entire body down into a deep slumber with a very strong gravitational pull towards sleep. You know how vampires in films sleep like the dead in coffins? Its like that!
Maybe it's just apathy?I have this. My physiology is cursed beyond belief. Its a huge problem for me. I can only describe narcolepsy as the "feeling of death".
