Serious Getting surgery tomorrow

Tomorrow I'm getting a ICD placed inside my chest. Its not a big surgery, should take around 2 hours and then I need to stay 1 day.

Over the last few years my heart condition (that I was born with) has gotten worse and the doctors say the chance of me getting random heart failure and dropping dead in my early 30's had gotten bigger. This ICD should help since it helps the heart work properly when it start beating in a dangerous way.

I have afib myself but it’s nothing compared to what you’re going through but at least if your surgery is a success maybe you’ll never need to go through this again.

Dropping dead doesn’t seem so bad tbh, and I am saying that from a bloodline with heart issues.
