for me there was one really clear event that made it obvious how widely the gap in status between us is
it was when i was like 9 and i was invited to some girl's birthday party, she had like 30 guests while i had like 1 or 2 max, it was really overwhelming and humiliating to see that actually, not only girls aren't dumber or weaker than boys, but in fact they have gigantic social networks and support, lol
