not at all it is hardly luck while some aspects are impossible to change others are determined by the enviorment. basicaly your entire jaw except the ramus and chin size is such. eye colour and skin colour is passed by the domminant gene which you can foresee. it is not gambling it is a highly controlled enviorment your parents just didnt care for it

Yeah thats the crazy part, nature and biology have systems but then you get two attractive parents having kids that are ugly or just average looking, even if genetic engineering was real, you wouldn't be able to predict the outcome
