on tuesday I brought 100 bucks worth of steam giftcards to use because I wanted to get RPGmaker MV and I saw it was only 80 bucks, and then i activated the cards on the same day and saw that it was 116 instead of 80, i could've sworn it was 80

fuck that is annoying and i'm bloody 7 dollars away from it too. tomorrow i have to go get another giftcard. can't be fucked today

You can find free ways to get it on internet. Plus idk about buying shit other than games on steam. i rather own my software than buying access to it.

that is fair; i usually do pirate stuff but i thought i might as well buy it to get the "full service" of everything. I only even have about 54 games in my library because i pirate, thought i had less than that

I don't think the full service of rpgmakerMV is worth it, there are free resources for you to use like plugins (i have a folder of 100+ plugins to further change the mechanics and other) as well as some tile sets you can find on forums. Most of the support are assets sold as paid dlcs and updates ig

i definitely noticed all of the predatory asset dlc on the storepage, hated that shit like crazy
