The mass terrorist attacks on Israel were on Oct-7. Its now Nov-10, and the Israeli army has made small gains in northern Gaza. The Israelis also have done a lot of missile and air strikes hitting targets around Gaza since the start of the war.
Why is Gaza difficult to take over. Its an urban area of 2 million with all these reinforced concrete buildings, and then the tunnels. And I assuming lots of underground stuff like parkades and building underground parts just in a normal modern city. Thing I wasn't sure about is how much weaponry and ammo the Gazans had because Israel controls access to the strip. But they seem to have a fair amount, a question is whether they can be resupplied.
