I’m playing Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 right now. The shooting with the blaster rifle sucks, had to install a mod just to increase the fire rate. But I really enjoy the old-school design. The huge levels feel open and full of all kinds of obstacles, organic puzzles to solve, and secret areas packed with extra equipment. It gives the game a real sense of exploration you don’t see in modern shooters.

Started a playthrough of The Plutonia Experiment for Final Doom about a week ago, and I'm about halfway finished. It's an official map pack for Doom 2 that runs on its very own iwad, and was created by an entirely different dev team. It's basically the same gameplay but with better map design, and a lot more difficult. I've been a casual gamer of the Doom series for over a decade now, so it isn't too hard, but for those just starting out on it, be warned. You will die to the combat puzzles a lot!

Turns out that DQ8 >>> DQ11 and is at least playable without artificial difficulty

That game is awesome but it turns to shit after the bounties end.
For me Y was my first and still is my favorite. I tried Emerald and it was pretty fun but it doesn't have the same complexity as Y had, and the Y OST is really good.
Lately just been AC Shadows which I resent as a fan yet I've still tortured myself with 100+ hours just like Valhalla & Odyssey. Finished the 12 main targets, just clearing up the remaining quests and some activities, not all required for platinum thank fuck.
Today I received Cronos so I'll be playing that as I love survival horror hence my avatar. Busy schedule of games to round out the year, Silent Hill F, FC 26, Battlefield 6, Persona 3 Reload for switch 2, maybe Metroid, I plan to buy all of these in what has been an unprecedented year for game releases, I've spent well over a thousand on gaming this year with the switch 2 console as well.

Doom 2016 - This game is a balls to the wall exhilarating shooter, that shoots 1st and asks questions later, still need to play Eternal as well
Ghost of Tsushima - Brilliant open world samurai game, to whet my appetite for AC Shadows, loved Sly & InFamous as well

Just beat Digimon Story Time Stranger demo and had more fun than any other Digimon game. Variety of locations and being able to quickly start evolving digimons is a great feeling. There are only some story interruptions but they are fine and not too annoying, and they show scale of fights instead of just being one corridor with 5 enemies.
Shame that Denuvo is there but since i can bypass it i don't really care. Game runs really well and looks better than i expected, there are some stutters due denuvo ofc but not interrupt you too often. Now i need to beat Sandrock to make space for actual full game. And it would be good if i could beat Digimon Survive before launch of the game too.
