Second remasters/remasters are fine if compatiblity issues are remedied.
I prefer they put their energy and resources into sequels otherwise the company and IP will stagnate.

I wish I could do it. I even looked into game development and which platform (console) would be the best.
Surprisingly, in terms of ease of access, XBOX seems to be the best and Nintendo the worst.
Playstation is right in the middle

But currently I am having a serious issue. Could be a herniated disc in my neck which is causing me numbness, and weakness in my right arm.

I can't work anymore, like this and am currently self treating because I know how to do it.

I have figured out more about .y condition in a shorter time than all of the fucking doctors I've seen in the past five fucking weeks... .

This country is a joke.

Anyway, I will be seeing a neurologist and a chiropractor/chirurg soon too to make sure that this really is the culprit and not something else.

According to my NMRI the nerve etc. are intact, so it is probably coming from the neck, since my shoulders are fine as well as my ellbow and wrist.

So yeah, currently I am healing.

I am not a nostalgiafag, I'd say.

I wanted to own some of my favourite old games on a new system because it is becoming increasingly harder to get these old systems and eventually it will be impossible.

I believe in game preservation also, and if the devs do a good job of it, I will gladly pay again for the same game, but if they butcher it, I might pirate it at best.

Demakes are not made for the OG fans, they’re new games made for zoomers who couldn’t handle the originals but still want to flex about 'classic gaming,' and for normalfags who half-finished the original once on launch and now act like it was one of their favorite games and the demake improved it.

Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver is probably the best remake of all time.
Resident Evil 4 was also very good, but I consider it equal to the original in terms of quality.

Hmm Pokemon HGSS was really nice graphically but I never played it or RE4, so I can't give my opinion but these are a good exception to the rule.
Now I am on the fence but still I said if compatibility issues are a thing they should remaster or remake but for most games it isn't necessary post xbox 360 and ps3 era. feels like technically speaking most games can't iterate enough to justify a remake and remasters are soulless ways to justify a new price tag on old games

We hit a plateau in technical complexity/limit I think so Xbox 360 and Ps3 games are not that different from modern ones even if they are considered classics
