Fucking maggots crawling around everywhere in my place...

This summer it is especially bad. I have to say I am living in like a trash yard. My entire flat is full with trash. I can deal with that...what bothers me, however, are the maggots crawling around. When I am eating and some food is left I just let the plates stand there for several days or sometimes weeks. Then after a while maggots are crawling in the old food and that somehow creeps me the fuck out.

What do your places look like? Have you given up, too?

I was the exact same, I let my flat get so dirty and never washed any plates but when it got infested with maggots and shit I started to clean the plates, there's still paper and other messy shit but I clean the foid particles now and I never put gone off chicken breasts in the bin I just throw them out the window

My house gets a lot of centipedes. I don't know where they come from, but I always have to kill at least one a week. I just step on them with my bare foot or smash them with my hand at this point.

Anyone know any solutions long term? Why won't they just leave me alone? My place is reasonably clean. I don't live in a trashcan like OP.

I dont know man... I have tried but I cant. I am always saying to myself I will keep it clean from now on. Then all of a sudden I find myself in a pile of trash...

I saw this creature speed under my legs whilst at the computer just yesterday. They are quick and look unsightly. Then again, they are the apex predator in the bug world, ie. you have other bugs in your house which they feast upon.
