does anyone know of any game companies that make games with a similar look to Dark Souls?
I love the medival gothic look but the formula is kinda boring after a while.

Remnant 2 has a similar look. It's basically dark souls with guns. Just don't play the first one, it's pretty bad.

Idk nothing else but I love the strong dark fantasy vibe of Deepwoken. Too bad the game is kind of a slopfest rn but at first glance it was surreal. It's definitely a new take of dark fantasy mixed with anime elements. The world, characters, people, lore, monsters fit so well and the aesthetic is actually something could be meta or new.

But if you want to be a mega toxic sweatlord to fuck everyone instead of enjoying the environment and pve of the game. You wouldn't last longer.

Dark souls isn't even hard. It's not supposed to be super difficult. The game just makes you think rather than mindlessly spamming the attack button to win.

If dark souls actually looked like a gothic medieval fantasy maybe I would give it a second or third chance. But its aesthetics always felt off to me. Yes it emulates the dark medieval look but somehow gives me uncanny valley effect.
