Problem with friends is that many will disappear without reason on you. Most people use you to fulfill their emotional needs and then phase you out once their needs are met. In fact a good experiment would be ask for stuff from your friends like immediately while they are asking stuff from you. For example, they need help moving....say "Sure I'll help you move next weekend...by the way....my car is in the shop, can you give me ride to someplace an hour away tomorrow?" OR when they are asking for a shoulder to cry on/vent...vent back about some bullshit problem you have.

....muh guess is that there will be a sudden change in the "friendship" dynamic for many of your friends.
