Two dudes: they seemed to have relatively normal lives and romantic partners.

I no longer see them since I was only in the same environment as them when I was going to school.

This is what most of my “friends” were like when I was in school, especially in high school, people you would speak with in class but never really in any other setting, and wouldn’t speak them in any other context. I would say that these bonds were just formed out of boredom/convenience, not a true “friendship”.

I had a few guys I would say I was really friends with before then but it’s probably been 13-14 years since I last spoke to any of them, nothing more than loose acquaintances since then as you said.

Would you say that having close friends is a fakecel trait? I see ugly guys with friends often but they usually get shit on and end up as the jesters of their group of friends, and will often be excluded too.

I'm not sure if what I already described could be called close or not.

Strong neurotypicality and social skills probably are somewhat of a fakecel trait: that or you wind up jestermaxxing publicly if you're low-smv enough, but I imagine it might lift you up just enough to eke out some success in life if you're not too ugly.
