Yes, especially during the night and other off-hours: but isn't a problem on community servers, they are more populated now.
Same experience now, but people have gotten much more skilled, there are not many fresh, new players anymore after the 3-4 years of no updates to the game.

I was always garbage at the game so I just quit. I always liked heavy and soldier but heavy was my favorite since i'd do good by just holding down m1 and w.
