that's true, the occupation was very smooth, in big part because the combat ended so quickly.
most of the problems arised during the end of the occupation, when germans had orders to destroy Paris and some mining and shelling happened, something that redditors try to pretend is apocalyptic evil even tho it's just normal war operations.

Yes, but didn't the troops of France itself rape Italian women en masse? And yes, I know it was mostly Moroccans and other North Africans, but it was still the official Free French armed forces.
