Figured as much. None of these documentaries ever deviate from the main propaganda. They just feign concern long enough to hook critical viewers in and then try and spin it to make the incels look like the antagonists and claim there is a lesson to be learned.

Television is disgusting : "in the next thirty minutes we're going to talk to you about this subject you've never heard about and tell you what you must think about it".

There is an effect, I can't quite recall its name, which shows how bad mass media is. It's when you see mass media discussing a subject you're particularly knowledgeable about. Like chess, rock climbing, thirteen century art, whatever. When it happens you inevitably notice how little they know about the subject, how little research they did and overall what a poor representation they gave of the topic. Then you realize : "hang on, if they're so bad at discussing subjects I know a lot about, what makes me think they are better at discussing subjects I know nothing about ?"

And then you realize even when they let you know something, it's usually very little and it's most likely wrong on a very fundamental level.

By the way that makes me think of that video I saw today on an other thread about a girl who despised math and wanted to be a journalist. Why should anyone trust as a source of information someone who despises the jewel of human intellect ? Journalists are not especially smart. Fuck them.

Yeah, it's a simple translation effort. ARTE distributes and produces shows in both French and German. This is not uncommon in Europe, and in the past before English became the dominant lingua franca European co-productions would have audiotracks in 2 or even 3 languages done by the original actors - just look at big Visconti or Bertolucci movie productions. So no voice-dubbing was needed.
