Kinda like how in the UK recently, feminists were angry about the official statistics showing, year after year, 30% of victims of domestic abuse being men, so they lobbied for a wider definition to get more female victims. The amount of male victims just grew even more rapidly, and the gap narrowed even more, to men being 40% of victims.

At least in the US for example, according to official CDC data, fewer female highschoolers ask for verbal consent than male ones, since only the latter have grown up having it drilled into their heads that only they can be rapists and only they should ask for consent, and if that's the case in the US, I'm pretty sure it's going to be the same in Western European countries like France as well.
