Yes, and I can see now that I'm going to quit soon, and pursue whatever improvements I can get in the real world, no matter how humiliating.

The point is not whether the real world, or this forum, is better. The point is, what are you going to do with your one life before you're gone forever. I'd rather give myself one last shot, rather than accept defeat and hang out here with adolescent men with no prospects.
