For people here who used to be on the left - what made you switch sides?

Basically wokeness made me switch sides, plus learning about things like mass immigration, low birth rates in developed countries, stuff like that.

I felt like my priorities changed because I care a lot about the Western world, plus I never realised the left could be so... strange and radical.

I remember watching this video where this guy in it is screaming "You're a white male!" and thinking that the left had become something awful.

I was used to the left being about hippies in a field or chilling out watching The Daily Show, so the whole woke thing was really quite shocking to me.

I mean, to be fair even back in the day I could sense that there was SOMETHING lurking under the surface. Lots of talk about anarchy and lots of misanthropy. But I had no idea that it could become this bad.

back in 2018 I was in a soviet larpist phase where I used to worship Karl Marx, Lenin and Stalin. but then I outgrew it and then usually went for socially far right pan european nationalism, as for economics, I am kinda apolitical towards them, anything would work for me, but if I were to pick a side, I would go for corporatism
