It is not really about confidence. It is about being self-aware. You are being self-aware. You are being self-aware of yourself. You are being self-aware that you are also unable to change it despite the fact that you want to change it. You are exposed to this situation, yet you are unable to fix it or change it. Therefore, people come up with words like "confidence" or words like "insecure". The word "insecure" is often being used. Even people on here in this thread are using the word "insecure". It seems like that people nowadays conflate self-awareness with being "insecure"
