yeah, foids don't have interests or hobbies for the most part. watching sports is a fashion accessory to them, they look forward to games so they can dress up and paint themselves in interesting ways to be the center of attention. as soon as that sport is out of season, they stop caring about it. you can see the same behavior in videogame communities with cosplays, they see a character getting attention and they choose to dress up as said character to divert that attention to themselves. they follow their primal instinct to advertise themselves to potential mates and providers.
