This was the moment I knew I would never find love... It happened back in my senior year of High School. I was paired up for this school project with this girl. We had never really talked before, but over the few weeks we worked together, I developed feelings for her, started to think what it would be like if we were dating. Big mistake. One day, we were working after school and a buddy of mine(ex buddy by the end of this story) asked if we wanted a ride home (I dont drive, and still can't to this day, and she didn't have a car). We take him up on his offer and have some good laughs on the way. This happens a couple more times by the end of this project. After we hand it in, the girl says she still wants to hang out and we start being friends. She's always texting me and we make plans to do stuff with Buddy (because he had a car to go places, made sense to me at the time). I completely fell in love with her, and I really thought she liked me back, since we were always texting and making plans to do stuff.
And then THAT day came. We decide to do a chill movie night and decide that my house is the best location because we have a home theater in the basement. Girl arrives with this MASSIVE bottle of vodka her brother scored for her. Buddy arrives soon after and the evening starts. We put the movie on and half listen, half chat and make jokes while passing the bottle around. It doesnt take much time until we are all very drunk. At this point, I am half way to passing out and concentrating on the movie so as to not vomit. Suddenly, a noise snaps me out of my trance. I turn my head and see Girl and Buddy sloppily and disgustingly exchanging saliva. I was horrified, confused, humiliated and heartbroken. I end up running to the nearest toilet to puke and resign myself to sleep next to the other two, fearing what would happen if I'd gone to my own bed, leaving them alone.
I confront Girl after 2 weeks of ignoring her and she admits that she could tell I had feelings for her, and used that in order to get closer to Buddy because she liked him. Buddy is no longer in my life, even though I didn't have many friends to begin with. Women are disgusting creatures.
