First thread attempt i want to vent, for context i am currently studying chemistry at uni, and last week we got assigned new substitute lab manager who is supervising our lab. Last week when showing of the final work for the lab, she keeps pestering me about minute details in an aggressive tone, like she doesn't like how i set up the formulas we used etc, and asked me a bunch of questions some of which i didn't know the answer to etc.
So today i was not looking forward to lab at all, hoping that we wouldn't have the same substitute supervisor, but lo and behold we have the same fucking bitch. Still i initially show courtesy and respect wishfully thinking maybe she will act respectfully this time (I was sorely mistake). This time i am also more closely observing how she talks to other students at the lab (most students are foids), and the difference is so stark. Her entire tone is different, when someone makes a mistake she explains what is wrong in a more encouraging tone. I also overhear her making an offhand comment to another male student how the group should make sure he also knows what is going on (like he is a stupid male that doesn't understand). I wished i had paid even closer attention to how she was talking to all the students, but i was busy with lab work.
At the end of the lab when we showed off our results, even though all my results were correct she kept complaining again about the structure of how i organized the formulas etc. And when she asked me to explain how i arrived at the results, when i was thinking for more than 1 second how to best explain the process she would keep on interrupting me, asking me about something else entirely. The real kicker is that i am in a lab group with 2 other women, and they didn't even bother calculating the results, they just wrote of my results (when everyone on the group is supposed to calculate the results). And when asking them about it she switches tone and language in fucking real time right in front of me, and says something along the lines of you should calculate your own results you can't trust this guy's messy structure or whatever.
During the entire exchange i was insanely angry and wanted to beat up the bitch, fortunately for me I didn't. I was so emotional afterwards i had to walk around campus for an hour.
She also had the most annoying voice possible...
TLDR: Abusive foid in authority position
I am curious to hear if anyone has experienced similar misandry in Academia or female teachers in public school etc. It's like the foids are not aware that you could physically overpower them at all.
