I think instead of creating all this anxiety about getting a girl friend and ascending and getting a wife, I need to put all my focus on just getting a date. I will try not to expect much from it or think of anything beyond the date. Just secure the date and go on it. Sadly though even this is a challenge. However if think this is a better mindset than worrying about the big picture.
