The game company that made that game is called Idea Factory and they are known in Japan for making shit games, so much so that they nicknamed them Idea Fucktory.

if people are gonna play neptunia, i think id generally recommend neptunia sisters vs sisters (since theres more action or on the go type of combat and people usually don't like turn-based combat).

i never played tales of berseria, so cant comment on it

basically turn-based combat

you attack, the enemies attack, going back and forth, and in turns (a lot of people dont like this, its sort of a niche, i used to like it, but fell out of love with this or lost interest in that sort of gameplay).

in terms of which one has good turned based combat of the neptunias (and "story"): hyperdimension neptunia rebirth 3 (or victory) and hyperdimension neptunia vii

I actually bought 5 of them without even checking if i will like them or not. Actually only beat Neptunia X Senran as it was obviously related to SK, honestly gameplay was pretty shit in the first game and i kept dying since it forces you to grind what a meh game. Maybe i should force myself to finally beat them. I also have same issue with Kiseki series bought 4 of them and haven't beat even a single one of them
