Yea, after endless of hours reading about it, I finally feel safe enough to start using it. I'll just try to work out more and eat healthier, maybe that will counter the lost sex drive and boner problems, in case i'll have any...It works, I've been using it for 8 years and have noticed no side effects so far.

It made my dick stop working and I couldn't coom anymore. Stopped taking it. Rather bald then unable to coom.
The moment you stop it the DHT levels would start to rise again and you would lose your hair. Maintaining your hair is a good thing itself and what most would probably get from finasteride.

I've had the unsightly privilege to talk to some coping trans people that would consume finasteride in order to consume hair loss. Most of whom posed like they were normal men and just wanted to look 'cute'/'good looking'/etc. Keep in mind that there are some people that use this stuff as HRT. It honestly puzzled me though. You can take this stuff to grow some hair, sure, but unless you are trans that's the only effect it would pose to your body that you could perceive as beneficial. Really, I feel like getting finasterized induced gyno and lowered sex drive will be a net loss in the long run. What was the most confusing however was that all these traits regarding attractiveness they spoke of aren't attainable from hair alone. It can't fix bone.

Sorry, my English isn't always the best, but are you implying that those guys basically started acting like trans because of Finasteride? I've heard it makes you less manly, sadly. I wonder if there are some alpha males out there that takes this shit, and keep their manliness.

Some of these guys appear to have already been trans. I do recall some hair forums where some men taking HRT admit that they are not normal men. I remain skeptical about whether or not these sort of hormones can really turn you one way or the other. The only thing that I do know is that it is taken by trans people for a reason, namely the body feminization effects. There's this guy that spreads this meme about being bald and shit and, before taking fucking estrofem, he was taking finasteride. Dude had massive man boobs.

It's originally a drug to fight prostate enlargement (5mg/day IIRC), the slowing of allopecia (1mg/day) is an unexpected side effect. However I think it is unlikely to work as HRT.
My 3yo niece stole a 1mg pill when I was showering cos I left the box on the counter like an idiot. I called EMS but they told me not to worry as the drug (at this dosage at least I guess) has no effect on girls.
You will likely experience some side effects because it blocks DHT which is important. For some people, it kills their bodies natural ability to make DHT even when they quit the drug. As far as I know you can supplement with T or DHT to make up for the side effects as all that matters if it is in your body.

I wonder if accutane has had any effects on me besides less oily skin/hair and cleared acne (permanently). I can get good erections. My hair seems to be the same thickness.
Can't find solid info on accutane and DHT.
