  • No, I look at the combo move list for a few moments, then I just make the best of the situation.

Naruto games I just throw shurikens and a Jutsu once in a while.

Yeah, the “Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm” games were fun.
I think I'll get the new Dragonball game that just came out. I know nothing about Dragonball but the game looks good.

mostly just practising combos yk, if you have the knowledge of what move can be followed up with what move, its easier

i tried getting into sf5 and I just couldn't remember the combos to save my life :feelshaha:

I think you meant Tekken where there's a fuck ton of moves to memorize. Sf games and other had lesser moves but for some reason I couldn't perform those moves that require joystick strokes perfectly, instead just press the keys wildly it until it works. I play on keyboard and the stroke where you need to press is down right for quarter circle, left down right for half circle, and there's one of those full circle strokes that for the life of me had no idea how to do it with keys. Sometimes they work, sometimes they need a specific timing.

no, i just press all the buttons randomly until a "combo" appears

If you can actually remember all of the combos to fighting games, you are amazing.

I just mash buttons indiscriminately when I play fighting games.

I can remember a few of Ryu’s combos in “Street FightER,” but that is it.

If you can’t remember combos, fighting games are impossible.

I love fighting games, and I play them very often. It probably does seem hard to memorize the combos, but it's actually less complex than you think it would be. Anyone who is new to fighting games probably feels overwhelmed or doesn't have a good understanding of how the movement works, so they always accidentally mess up.

When you learn a combo, it really just comes down to muscle memory eventually.

I have played fighting games for a while ,they seem easy on paper but hitting the combo consistently is hard ,never the less hitting it online.
really if you are playing against beginner you only need to know (light-light-command normal-special) combo, maybe some more strings and punishes and block strings yes it is hard and training seems useless there is always stuff to lap out

I was a god at button mashing on tekken 4 on ps2

I guess the more you gravitate towards a small number of characters the easier it is.
