My husband drinks between 3-6 beers (tall, 50cl ones) several days a week. He doesn't really get visibly drunk, he has super high tolerance. He doesn't act bad or much different at all so that's not why it bothers me. He has type 1 diabetes and all that sugar just can't be good. I am worried about the effects this will have in the future. He says that as long as he manages his insulin there is no harm done. He is however overweight (to me he's perfect, just worried about health) and at his last checkup they said his sugars were a bit high as well as slightly high cholesteral. He also said they don't think it's good how much he drinks.

He's a very all or nothing guy, I'm the same so I get it. I've tried suggesting that he cut down or just limit the drinking to the weekends but then he quits completely for a couple of weeks then is back at it. He has the attitude of "diabetes can't control my life" and kind of "what happens happens". But we're still young (both 25) and I worry about the future.

What do you guys think? Is he right, am I worrying about nothing? Please be honest.

@Retardfuel Do you have anything in particular to say to these people?

This is what whores are willing to put up with when it comes to Chad. Meanwhile they don't even want to look in our direction

For me beer and liquors actually lower blood sugar because my liver is focusing on processing alcohol and when I sober it starts releasing sugar

Beer has carbs but liver can't process it when I'm drunk

The downside is that all those evening snacks under influence of alcohol can't really do much if I also inject insulin pen

Good to know

he's type 1, he can always just pump insulin.

hopefully he gets drunk and beats her though, that would be lifefuel

Does airport staff bother you when you have glucose monitor or insulin?
Sometimes. I did have to explain what it was the last time I crossed a border.

I only got harrassed once, I think they added me to their database because it's permanent and can't be cured

That normie is probably depressed and drinks to cope. I can relate a little, I don't manage my T1D very well, partly due to a lack of will to live and not valuing my health as much as I should.

Palantir will gather that data and flag you as a T1Dcel threat

He is probably the only earner in the family , so he drinks beer to cope with his work stress.

If she really cares about her husband's health , she should also contribute financially or atleast reassure that he does not need to work so much or earn so much.
