They have two sources of motivation when they're against sex dolls:

I don't really get what's going on in their minds other than they really are devoid of any empathy. I mean... even in treating livestock animals so that they behave, you offer two things... a stick, and a carrot.

Kid's toys when they become higher quality and more expensive will naturally gravitate towards adult collectors anyway, like electric trains.

That way if they ban them it will affect women's sex toys as well, they will really overplay their hand if they ban girl dolls but allow boy dolls. Throw their arguments back at them and accuse them of assuming the doll's gender.
