Recently we've had some articles by feminists such as Amanda Marcotte and Hugo Schywzer arguing that the solution to men's issues is more feminism. All issues that men face are due to patriarchy and toxic ideas of masculinity, which feminism fights. Therefore feminism is the answer.

In fact, the complete opposite is true. Feminists fight AGAINST men's rights.

Here are some examples to prove my point:

I. Father's rights groups want shared parenting (equal custody) to be the default if both parents want custody and neither parent is unfit. They feel that men should not be punished for being men, and that women should not be awarded custody to their kids simply for being women. Currently women are awarded primary custody almost all the time, even if the husband was the stay-at-home Dad and the woman was the breadwinner.

1. Feminists fought against this. You can read NOW's own statement here. Also note their usage of anti-male lies, i.e. "fathers are abusive, don't give them custody." That is from 1997, but still remains valid today.

2. Men want protection against false rape allegations. They feel that a man's life should not be ruined simply on the allegation of a woman who may be a vindictive liar. Currently, a woman can accuse a man of rape for no reason, and the man's name is splashed in the paper and his life is ruined. So, they fought for laws granting men anonymity until charged with the crime of rape—not convicted, just charged.

3. Feminists fought against this, causing it to fail. Also see here, the London Feminist Network campaigning to defeat the proposal.

4. "The London Feminist Network is a campaigning organisation uniting London based feminist groups and individuals in activism."

5. Men want an end to the justice system favouring women simply because they are women, and giving men harsher sentences simply because they are men.

6. Feminists fought against this, arguing that no woman should be sent to jail, even women who had murdered multiple people.

7. Men want equal treatment when victims of domestic violence, and to not be arrested for the crime of "being male" under primary aggressor policies.

8. Feminists fought against this by trying to suppress evidence showing that half of domestic violence is done by women, by threatening the researchers with bomb threats, death threats, etc. Modern, younger feminists are doing it as well.

9. Feminists were also responsible for creating the Duluth Model, which states that domestic violence is perpetrated by men against women, in order to control them. This model is widely used in the United States, which has led to male victims being arrested when calling the police.

II. Men want female rapists to be arrested, charged, and convicted with rape. In Western countries, women are rarely punished when raping men, due to the biased legal system. In some countries, women cannot be punished when raping men, since rape is defined as a male-perpetrated crime.

1. Feminists fought against this in India, arguing that "there is a physicality [in] rape" and that it would make things "more complicated for judges."

2. Feminists fought against this in Israel, claiming that changing the law would result in men filing false rape claims.

3. Men want society to stop thinking only men commit rape or only women can be raped.

4. Feminists rolled out the don't be that guy posters, which portray all rapists as men.

5. Or here is influential feminist Mary Koss (author of the famous 1 in 4 study):

Clinical psychologist Mary P. Koss of the University of Arizona in Tucson, who is a leading scholar on the issue, puts it rather bluntly: "It's the man's penis that is doing the raping, and ultimately he's responsible for where he puts it."

6. Men don't want to be thrown in jail because they lost their jobs and temporarily cannot pay child support.

7. Feminists fought against this, trying to lower the amount to $5000 before a man is guilty of a felony for not paying child support. If a man loses a decent-paying job, he will now be a felon, go to jail, lose his right to vote, AND be unable to find future jobs; if he cannot regain an equal-paying job within a few months.

8. Men want equal economic support and help from the government. When the recession hit, male-dominated fields like construction lost millions of jobs, while female-fields like education and healthcare gained jobs. So the government proposed an economic stimulus for those fields.

9. Feminists successfully fought against this, arguing that it was discrimination to support men, and caused the government to give money to women who didn't deserve it. Hundreds of professional feminists complained against the "sexism" of helping men (who had lost jobs) and not women (who had gained jobs).

10. Men want the issue of suicide (predominantly male) and educational failure (predominantly male) addressed. Feminists protested several recent events at Canadian universities using such methods as physically blocking entrances and pulling fire alarms. The justification was that the organizing group was a hate group, and the speaker (Warren Farrell) was a rape apologist. The full 2+hour talk was posted online - there was nothing like that discussed. Subsequent events did not even feature Warren Farrell in any way, yet were still met with protests, illegally pulling fire alarms, etc.

As you can see, the idea that feminism fights for men's rights is a blatant lie. Don't believe any feminists who say otherwise. Feminists fight for female supremacy. They consistently and routinely harm men's most basic rights, as shown above.

If any of you are really so deluded as to argue that these cases of feminists harming men are not 'representative' of feminism, I pity you. *

Let me ask you: Are there any cases of feminists helping men? No, yet there are many cases of feminists harming men.

This is not a mistake; this is feminism working exactly as intended: Oppressing men while privileging women. Feminism isn’t about gender equality, and it has never ever fought for such a thing throughout recorded human history.

It is evident and safe to conclude that Feminism is a female supremacist movement, and therefore naturally aims at harming men.

Well researched thread. Very interesting

As much as i support mens rights, this is an incel forum

That's what happens when your movement starts off as an eugenics movement

Can we just throw the table up and go to war with femishits? They are demonic animals

We know, good thread.

Awesome thread my friend. You’re a great man

I'm going to skim this post and give my opinion on it, as a non-MRA.

I. While shared parenting might good, the main problem regarding children is that they aren't being born because of abortion and a cultural one child policy. There might be good reasons for shared parenting, but as an involuntary childless person this doesn't affect me since I haven't reproduced.

2. I don't disagree with this. It might be a good start.

5. While I'm not against, I can see a problem with this proposal. I'll make a thread after I'm done reading Warren Farrell's book, but one of the things he said is that more money is spent on female prisoners than on male prisoners. This is problematic, because some may interpret this as there needing to be more funding which is the opposite of what should happen. Reform has tended to make things worse. For example Democrat Jerry Brown passed the Uniform Determinate Sentencing Act caused a ninefold increase in prison population. I'm pretty much a prison abolitionist so I can't be an MRA since they say female criminals aren't punished(and even if that's true maybe we can just have the death penalty for them so they don't go to prison maybe). I don't think it's a problem that women's prisons are closing as I've heard. Nobody should go to prison. If women's close, men's might too. I don't think we should exclude women's voices as a means to ending the system. For example, the organization Survived & Punished seems to support the abolition of police and prisons and even deportations(according to their homepage). One of the things they're associated is with Marissa Alexander, a woman who, according to Wikipedia, had a husband who threatened to kill her so she shot a warning shot and was arrested. Why would I oppose self defense? Anyone genuinely concerned about men must be an abolitionist since most prisoners are men. The US has 5% of the world's population yet 20% of the world's prisoners. It's obvious too many people are in it.

7. While I'm not against helping men who are the victims of domestic violence this doesn't seem to concern me since I'm unmarried and if I were I'd want to be happily married. What's wrong with divorce? In fact, I think I'm against domestic violence laws. Angela Davis seemed to say that instead of supporting VAWA, I think especially due to its pro-police aspect, we should have used that funding to actually help women.

II. I genuinely don't care if a man is raped by a woman. No heterosexual man would oppose heterosexual sex. I do think gay rape is bad though for sure - even warranting the court to give them the worst punishment. Honestly, if a man complains about being raped by women, then he should be the one who's arrested for being gay.

6. I'm against child support because I think children don't need it. It seems to be based on the antinatalist idea that children are expensive, which is not true. At most it should be $4,500 in Canadian dollars since that's how much the Fraser Institute says it costs to raise a child a year. Even that estimate seems to be an overestimation since food isn't expensive. I am against child support, but it's not exclusive to MRAs. Phyllis Schlafly criticized it at least once, though I haven't read her argument yet.

10. I am against suicide, but I think part of the solution is gun control, yet I've never seen MRAs talk about gun control. Maybe they have. I've never researched it. For sure, I've made a few threads against suicide and euthanasia.

You could have saved us from your yapping and just said that you're one of the worst gender traitors on earth. You promote the rape of men, deny their victim status, shame them for being victims and even want to arrest them for speaking out.

You're doing more harm to men than all male feminists combined.

We have monkeys like this in our circles who feel comfortable enough to openly say demonic shit like this. Then we wonder why men are being crushed by feminists.
