The point is they are all in close proximity to eachother and likely not allowed to wear masks or due to said close proximity be able to socially distance in any meaningful way.

Also if you watch the youtube prison channels like Fresh Out, OG Badger, Aboud and Lockdown 23 & 1 you quickly learn that free medical doesn’t mean shit if the guards don’t want to let you get treated or go to the hospital when something is seriously wrong with you.
