There is "good" fear which comes from actual threatening situations. You can[UWSL] be fearful of a poisonous animal because you know that they can kill you.[/UWSL]

[UWSL]To be irrationally fearful would be to look at spider or cockroach that you know isn't poisonous or dangerous but to still be scared because of your own subconscious beliefs. This is a self created illusion. Guarantee that 99% of those beliefs come from Lookism. Of course this comes from countries and cultures in which the association of insects is that that they are dirty and ugly, in other countries people are ready to eat cockroaches off the floor and sell them on the street. I never realized it until recently because I never thought about it, but most irrational fears stem from lookism.

But it was really difficult and not possible to identify which one is safe and which one is not. So inorder to counter the possible threat they became to avoid all the bugs and insects ir anything that looks hidious.

It is the same concept in humns treating people who are subhuman. Although they are not dangerous, they are perceived as dangerous. A fear of height's isnt really a fear of height's but a fear of suffering a significant injury, or death. Its a fully rational because their is a huge risk involved if you fall.

Fear of the dark depends on the situation of where you are. If you are in your own room/home theres nothing you should be scared of. If you're in public and all of a sudden everything just went pitched black fear would be rational since you cannot see or navigate you're surroundings.

It is all about survival. Lookism exist as early humans have to get wood and fruits etc. They will have to look for the good tree and check the fresh fruit not the rotten ones.
