Has anyone ever had a warning by authorities in the U.S or anywhere related to their online opinions? Would like to hear some stories if any of you know one.

Guys I don't fucking care if the FBI visits me. They can't to begin with bc im not from US, and second my country's police have no reason to bc free speech exists in my country. And even if they could legally they wouldn't do anything

I am lookign for stories lol. And a VPN is safer than a non-vpn but the FBI could easily track down ppl who use VPNs if they wanted to lol

the dining halls in my uni used the "rockbot" app to choose the music that played in them and you could have profile names and profile pics that would display on a screen in there showing who chose the music so ofc I picked ER and played pumped up kicks and elliotcore kino and someone reported that and cops came to my room for a welfare check and asked about that (and suicidal shit I had said around people at the time)

i only started using a VPN a year ago and sometimes i forget to turn it on

I had my ISP email me about pirated games i downloaded for the PS3 when i left Utorrent on without VPN on

Only other weird things i've seen were selling a modded xbox on local buy sell and i was helping guy set it up on email then a day later that site hosting games said they got cease desist. That site has been going for almost 10 years - isozone
