favorite metroidvania

currently im playing hollow knight, ive played many metroidvanias but im willing to play many more, what are some reccomendations yall can give

Aquaria is pretty interesting. You play as a member of an underwater race that is trying to find out what the hell happened to the rest of her species. There is a deep mythology behind the game you are in, as there are references to a god-like figure called The Creator...and then you slowly find out in the game that the Creator isn't what everybody thought he was.

As a bonus, the soundtrack was made by the late Alec Holowka.
