At the end of the day, it comes down to the fact that it is hard work to lose weight, and most women in the westernized world have never had to dedicate themselves to that extent; they typically have gotten whatever they’ve wanted by whining about it loudly enough for a man to hear and help out. Another part of it is, again, women are used to getting whatever they want and not having to make compromises due to whiteknights and fem praise. When you’re raised like that, with a western sense of entitlement only exacerbated by feminism telling women they can have it all, why WOULDN’T you believe you should be able to eat a lot, not exercise, and still be attractive to the other gender?
In fat loss, men have the advantage: We’re bigger and have on average 25 to 30lbs more muscle (untrained) than our female counterparts, so we tend to use more energy meaning we can “get away” with more eating. In a world of super-sizing, this is kind of a plus. Additionally, it means when we work out, even if our level of effort is the same as a female equivalent, we’ll still use up more.
Like I said before, they want it all but don’t want sacrifices. This is why fat activists are primarily women: They want to eat a whole cheesecake everyday for months but not have to miss out on Dr. Joe Sixpack, MD, hence why the whole “movement” is bulls~~~: It completely cuts out men. There are 10 million more overweight men than women, according to James Rippe in 2012. However, the range for overweight is more definite than obese. Once you hit obesity, morbid obesity I and II are lumped together. Guess who has 6 million more obese member than the other?
So all this put together, why wouldn’t they feel like it’s an assault on their persons to have someone ask them what their excuse is? The fact of the matter is most of them AREN’T that serious about their health. They want to land the meal ticket and make their fat friends envious, they want to party with the lean dude from they gym and get noticed by attractive and anonymous onlookers, but they don’t want to give up what’s making them fat. God forbid a woman stop making excuses, get it done, and actually at least pretend to please her man by being sexy instead of hiding behind fat rolls, kids and a job.
